JOURNAL TEMPLATE LIBRARY

Borrow a useful structure when you are not sure what to write.

A template is not a form you must complete. It is a set of prompts that helps you remember the date, context, exact words, and one detail your future self will need.

A SIMPLE RULE

A useful entry answers two questions.

  1. What happened? Keep the action, exact words, or artwork itself before adding a judgment.
  2. Why did it matter? Add the context, change, or feeling that lets someone understand it later.

Dates and ages can be automatic. Photos, categories, and measurements are optional. A template should lower the effort of beginning, not create homework.

Turn a template into your family's way of remembering.
